I was able to upgrade to Trixie by:

• Updating the sources in /etc/apt/sources.list and /etc/apt/sources.list.d/
• sudo apt update
• sudo apt upgrade --without-new-pkgs
• sudo apt full-upgrade
• sudo reboot
