What is plinth? In what language stack is plinth written in?

Plinth is the primary web interface and backend daemon for FreedomBox. The name “Plinth” is being phased out in favor or just “FreedomBox” or “FreedomBox Service”.

It is written in Python3, Django, Javascript, JQuery, Bootstrap, etc.
