Web and mail notifications from external scripts

Hi,

I have some self-made scripts which I wish to integrate a little bit with FreedomBox. Specifically:

  • Is there a simple way to record notifications from a Bash script so they are displayed in the FreedomBox web application? (Plinth)
  • Similarly, is there any facility in Plinth to send mail notifications for error/critical messages?
