Unexpected storage numbers after moving files in samba share

I moved files from a private Home Share to an Open Share in Samba. I expect the used disk space shown in Storage to remain the same, since the files were removed from the Home Share. Instead, it seems the disk space has now doubled for the moved files.

Is it possible the files are cached somewhere and need to be removed there? Other ideas for what is happening?

It is possible that the files you moved are still being held by Samba. You could try to disable and then enable the app or reboot your FreedomBox.

Also please check if snapshots need to be cleaned up manually to get the space back immediately.
