Transmission daemon Error loading config file -- exiting

Problem Description

  1. FreedomBox out of duty at the morning (no answer to quassel-client, no answer to ssh, no answer to ping)
  2. one hardware reset proceeded
  3. I leave home to go to work (a bit late)
  4. later, I observed that transmission web UI is not available
  5. only one service failed to start : transmission-daemon.service

  3. /etc/transmission-daemon/settings.json is present and empty

Repair mechanism

  1. helped by etckeeper, I filled back /etc/transmission-daemon/settings.json file
  2. transmission-daemon.service started with ssh CLI
