Suggestion for Improving Let's Encrypt Setup Guidance in Plinth

Hello,

I’ve recently created a Let’s Encrypt certificate using Plinth.

Initially, the process failed because my FreedomBox server is located behind a router, and I hadn’t configured port forwarding (NAT) to redirect HTTP traffic to the server. After reviewing the error message, I quickly identified the issue and updated my router configuration accordingly.

I would like to suggest adding a brief note in the Let’s Encrypt section of Plinth, such as:

If your server is behind a router, please ensure that HTTP traffic is properly forwarded to it. You may need to set up a NAT rule.

One quick question: if I fork and make modifications to the Plinth repository (GitHub - SunilMohanAdapa/Plinth: Web UI for FreedomBox), would you be open to a pull request?

Best regards,

Denis

Yes we are open to pull requests, but the repository is over here on Debian Salsa:
