[Solved] Listening to tcp6 ports failing

Hello,

I recently moved to a new VPS (aangat.lahat.computer), and things are working as expected! The only issue is that it seems some tcp6 ports are failing:

tcp6 port 11332
tcp6 port 11333
tcp6 port 11334

Things seem to be working though, but yeah diagnostics show that listening to these ports are failing. Is there anything I can do to fix it?

Information

  • FreedomBox version: Debian GNU/Linux 12 (bookworm) and FreedomBox version 25.1.
  • Hardware: VPS, amd64
  • How did you install FreedomBox?: ‘apt install freedombox’

Ah figured it out. It turns out that localhost on my machine points to 127.0.0.1 so I edited /etc/hosts to add:

::1 localhost

Would it be possible for FreedomBox to have a diagnostic check for this issue?
