Secret key invalid?

Hi,
I have installed debian 10 on my computer. Was able to install freedombox, everything seemed fine up until I have to enter the secret key. As root I cat /var/lib/plinth/firstboot-wizard-secret.
But key don’t seem to work, says invalid key when I enter it. Please help.

Hi fabio.
I have just deleted my Debian/Freedombox and re-installed just to make sure i was OK with it before replying.
I have the same problem with getting the secret after install. I get permission denied and no matter what i cannot access it.
Here is what i did
Open the terminal and type
sudo apt purge freedombox
sudo apt autoremove
sudo apt clean
sudo apt update
sudo apt install freedombox
While Freedombox is installing open libra office writer
When the secret number comes up copy and past then save.
Also during this install you will be asked questions. I have no idea what they mean so just accept OK
When the install has finished exit the terminal
Open web browser and type https://localhost
You get the Freedombox page and copy and paste in the secret number
You are now ready to set up
Enter username password etc.
Hope this helps
