Removing Nextcloud Fails

Problem Description
I am trying to uninstall nextcloud because sometime after I installed nextcloud my freedombox would to stop responding to the web UI around an hour after a reboot and every week or so would stop acting as a router for network traffic and doesn’t start again unless its rebooted. I was hoping these are connected and removing nextcloud would stop the problems.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Login to FreedomBox.
  2. Go to the nextcloud application page, which is listed with the not installed apps
  3. Click on the gear menu button and select uninstall
  4. Wait until the application fails to uninstall

Expected Results
I expected to see a message confirming nextcloud was uninstalled

Actual results
an error that nextcloud failed to uninstall

Just in case you didn’t notice, the link under “Details” routs to your FreedomBox. I wanted to warn you in case you weren’t aware that you shared it.

I removed the link, thanks
But I cant remove your quote of the link

I’m sorry that I couldn’t take it down earlier as I got caught up with work and family.
At the time of posting, I thought that it could be possible that the link remained in my post, but hoped that it wouldn’t once you edited the original message.
I shouldn’t have quoted that part.

There have been a couple support issues related to power saving features especially if your FreedomBox also has a desktop environment such as Gnome installed.

The webui seems to be still accessible, so perhaps that has fixed itself.
But I dont think going to sleep was the problem since it worked as a router even while I couldnt access the webUI
Nextcloud is still not uninstalling like I asked it to. Now it says it waiting for the upgrade even though I told it to uninstall yesterday.

spoke to soon, it just froze again, as always reboot works
