Questions on JSXC

I looked at the manual, but I can’t find the answer to the following questions:

  • Can I use JSXC if ejabberd is not installed on the same freedombox?
  • Can I use JSXC with an xmpp account hosted by another machine?

Currently, JSXC currently only works by the connecting to a configured FreedomBox domain on the URL /bosh/ . It might be possible to connect to other servers with minor code changes. Contributions are welcome.
