Problem Description
Cannot access FreedomBox’s setup page via any of the provided addresses
Steps to Reproduce
Flash FreedomBox - Testing software to USB stick (stable won’t boot via usb for whatever reason)
Insert newly flashed USB Stick into device
Turn on device, wait - Device goes through first setup presumably as normal until it reaches the terminal, where it says to go to ‘freedombox dot local’ OR the assigned IP address.
Visit provided website or IP Address
Expected Results
First-time setup should appear according to the “How to Set up a FreedomBox” video
Actual results
Website does not display, showing “This site can’t be reached” and “DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN” errors. - - Shows “ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT” when connecting via IP rather than “freedombox dot local” - - i also cannot connect from my phone or tablet, which shows the “This site does not support a safe connection” but clicking past that gives “ERR_ADDRESS_UNREACHABLE”.

- FreedomBox version: Whichever is the latest Stable or Testing version, i can’t access the page to check.
- Hardware: Raspberry Pi 4 4GB, ARM
- How did you install FreedomBox?: Downloaded both Testing and Stable images off freedombox dot org and flashed via rufus, and installed/flashed from Raspberry Pi Imager
TO NOTE:
The Raspberry Pi DOES respond to pings from my main computer where i’m primarily attempting to connect from, since i cannot attach more than one image i will paste the details below. (freedombox.local does not reply to pings)
