FreedomBox 24.1 released

FreedomBox 24.1 has been released and uploaded to Debian unstable. Typically, the freedombox package will migrate to testing in 2 days, and then can be uploaded to stable-backports.

Highlights:

  • locale: Add translation for Belarusian
  • storage: Show notification when rootfs is read-only

Other Changes:

  • locale: Update translation for Dutch
  • tests: operation: Fix mock has_calls assertion

Thanks for the great work and for the announcement.

Maybe I missed something, but all previous announcement I could find were for 23.x versions. What is triggering the version number move to 24.x?

The first part of the version number is the current year, so 24.x is for releases in 2024.
