FreedomBox 23.17 has been released and uploaded to Debian unstable. Typically, the freedombox package will migrate to testing in 2 days, and then can be uploaded to stable-backports.

Does this update already fix the automatic updates? My freedombox is still on version 23.6.2. The automatic updates keeps all other packages up-to-date. I also know there was a manual command but I am just wondering when the automatic fix is implemented.
The automatic fix should take effect when Debian 12.2 is released, currently scheduled for October 7. That’s when Debian stable (bookworm) will next be updated (with non-security updates).
