Problem Description
I am installing deluge using the FreedomBox UI and receiving an error.
Deluge was uninstalled earlier using FreedomBox UI. Where I’m getting stopped is that the service definition exists and is masked. I’d expect the service definition to be removed at uninstall time. Going to try to install Deluge again after unmasking the service.
Steps to Reproduce
- Login to FreedomBox.
- Go to Deluge app page
- Click on the install button.
Expected Results
I’m expecting a completed installation of Deluge and activation of the Launch web client button.
Actual results
I have a notification of a problem with Deluge installation.
Error installing app: Unable to setup configuration

Digging a little deeper in logs I find this:
/usr/lib/freedombox/freedombox-privileged
Error running action: deluge..setup(..): Unable to setup configuration
stdout:
○ deluged.service
Loaded: masked (Reason: Unit deluged.service is masked.)
