Cockpit: attempt to add NFS share fails

I have enabled NFS in Cockpit. However, whenever I attempt to add an NFS share to the external hard drive mounted at /media/root/12, I always get an error that says “Path on server cannot be empty”

Any ideas appreciated…

@rocdoc54 will you post the contents of your /etc/exports file? You may need to include any files in /etc/exports.d.

Cockpit’s NFS share feature is intended for adding shares from other servers into the machine on which Cockpit is running. Is this what you’re trying to do?

No, more for home network sharing. I have decided Samba was more appropriate for my situation so I have that up and running and have shut down the NFS idea. Also, the “Sharing” app is quite useful for what I want to do.
