I use searx from the newest version of freedombox. It works well, but I cannot save the peferences. I change the search and interface language to german and save them, but when I start searx the next time, it uses English again.
Searx has two ways of saving preferences:
- By setting cookies in the browser
- Using a URL with preferences set as query parameters. This is shown in a text box at the bottom in the Preferences page.
You should either allow Searx to set cookies on your browser or use the generated URL.
