I don’t think Calibre has a way of accessing books from a remote Calibre server. I found a plugin for Calibre to become an OPDS client. https://github.com.cnpmjs.org/steinarb/opds-reader . Someone correct me if I am wrong.
There are other e-book readers on Android, etc. that connect to an OPDS server to browse and retrieve books. However, Calibre on FreedomBox does not yet support OPDS server feature. We hope to get it working.

I think @sunil misunderstood the question.
calibre app in FreedomBox currently doesn’t have an option to import a library.
I created an issue for this.

Thank you, @njoseph for creating this issue. I was about to post the same question as @luisgarcia but now don’t have to. It’s one thing have Calibre server running on FreedomBox but the missing ingredient is how to import your ebook library!
