Following a warning on sshfs backup failures yesterday, I tried to initiate a backup manually with plinth, it did not work.
I rebooted, tried again, it worked and then there was an automatic backup the same day and in the night for the next day.

There was apparently a reattempt every hour, the error messages look the same (but I did not check in detail).
