Apache crashes when Mediawiki is installed

I have a Pioneer that have been working fine for months with radicale, ejabberd, coturn, quassel, post/fixdovecot and synthing. I use the version with SSD and everything moved to the SSD except /boot. Except for the moving of the filesystem, everything is as installed by the official image and plinth, no tweaking of anything.

The recent modifications are the addition of matrix (no public registration) added last week, not much used (only 2 active users to send a few messages between each other, trying it due to a situation where I can’t make Monal on iOS and Gajim on a new machine successfully decode each other with OMEMO).

Yesterday, I installed roundcube and, a few hours later, Mediawiki.

Within a few minutes (2-3 at most) of installing Mediawiki, the web interface became unavaible while I could still ssh to my Pioneer. Apparently, postfix/dovecot, radicale, ejabberd and quassel were still working fine (I did not test further things).

I asked to reboot, the web interface came back, but it very quickly died again. Finally, I rebooted and connected with ssh early on and displayed the journal. Apparently, apache is crashing. I thought that I could try restarting some service with systemctl restart, so I tried restarting plinth, that does not bring the web interface back. I tried restarting apache2, then the web interface is back, but it is gone again after a few minutes. I restarted apache2 and hurried to deactivate Mediawiki, then no more problem, web interface stays up.

Could you try checking if another program is using port 80 when this happens? Perhaps by running this command:
$ sudo lsof -i :80

I have a similar (same?) issue. since some time I can only use any web-app for maybe half a day. then apache seems to die.
When i start apache2 again it works again for some time.
losof -i :80 does not return anything. Any suggestions for which logs to check?
