Admin for the matrix app?

Hello!
I installed the matrix chat 5 (synapce) but i cant figure out how i am supposed to moderate the chat whitout a admin user?

Ive googled around for quite a while and figured there is no admin in the chat it self, but you can use the server as admin panel or am im wrong?

I wanna know if there is a webgui for this or a shellscript. Thanks in advance.

Maybe a little bit late for a reply, but I stumbled upon a neat Android App for managing a Matrix instance and remembered your post from back then.

As there is no - at least not of my knowledge - graphical UI provided by the server itself, the App is a perfect tool for basic admin tasks, no CLI needed. Don’t forget to set one of your server accs as admin-user first, as described in the manual under Advanced usage - 3!
