when freedombox got around I tested the system on a computer. Then I realized that in a lot of cases freedombox will make your ipaddress public. To me that is unacceptable. A whois can be quite precise. And I refrained from having a freedombox.
A countermeasure could be if freedombox provided an option to force all internet data transfers over tor. Tell me if I am wrong?
I am not skilled such that I can make a concrete solution. But I have investigated if there is relevant software on the matter.
kodachi and parrotsec org and torbox ch claim their gnulinux systems provide software that will enable the distributions to force everything internet over tor.
About parrotsec org it seems the program anonsurf does the job.
I consider trying to get a dialog with the anonsurf developer. But I would also like to get comments from freedombox developers. Do you agree it is an important matter?
Thanks.
