# FreedomBox 26.10 released

FreedomBox 26.10 has been released and uploaded to Debian unstable. Typically, the freedombox package will migrate to testing in 2 days, and then can be uploaded to stable-backports.

Changes in this release:

- apps: Change header title from Disabled to Available for install
- css: Fix sizing for icons in custom shortcuts
- debian/tests: make ready check more robust
- debian/tests: Drop redundant status check
- first\_boot: Move first wizard secret generation to this app
- locale: Update translations for Chinese (Simplified Han script), French, German, Latvian, Swedish
- log: Set simpler syslog identifier instead of full binary path
- luanti: Add more detail to description
- ssh: Don’t fail on page load when SSH host key can’t be read
- tor, torproxy: Avoid error if defaults file missing during uninstall
