# Battery required to keep my FreedomBox running

Did your router perhaps reset? It [happened to me](https://salsa.debian.org/freedombox-team/freedombox/-/issues/1833).  
In such case the right way to go is reset the FB as explained [here](https://discuss.freedombox.org/t/shutdown-and-the-battery/119).
