You are probably stuck at 19.1 – that will remain the case until Debian 10 is released. Despite FreedomBox releasing new version in the meantime. Unfortunately we have to remain patient for that particular day Mid-2019…

Now auto-update works. My freedombox upgraded from 19.13 to 19.14.
